Internet governance is the complementary development and application by governments, the private sector, civil society and the technical community, in their respective roles, of shared principles, norms, rules, decision-making procedures, and activities that shape the evolution and use of the Internet.

 By definition Internet Governance is both multilateral and multi-stakeholder process. In order to effectively contribute to this process, stakeholders should possess the fundamental understanding of current Internet Governance issues and efforts to resolve them. This particular module will expand participant’s awareness of developments in this field and prepare them to take an active part in shaping future Internet regulations.



Cyber hygiene is a set of habits that you must always practice when you go online, to ensure that your critical data, personal information, devices and network are protected and kept secure. The goal of cyber hygiene is to keep sensitive data secure and protect it from theft or attacks by cyber criminals.

Currently, KESIG is done annually through a call for applications. Only selected applicants can access the course and the applicants are taken through the training in a structured manner by  trainers.

KESIG 2023 will be held from June 2nd to June 22nd 2023.
